Stop Wondering If This Is Just Your "Normal."
Imagine waking up with a body that feels good—not waking up already stiff, sore, and wondering how you're going to make it through the day.
Imagine moving through your morning without the constant low back pain, neck tension, headaches, or aches that have become your “normal.”
Imagine being able to exercise, play with your kids, work, travel, and enjoy your favorite activities without constantly thinking about what hurts.
And imagine sitting down for a meal without wondering whether you'll spend the rest of the day bloated, uncomfortable, constipated, or searching for the nearest bathroom.
No more accepting pain, digestive issues, low energy, and inflammation as something you simply have to live with.
Your spine, nervous system, muscles, movement, digestion, nutrition, stress, and lifestyle all influence how you feel every single day.
That's why our approach goes beyond simply adjusting your spine or putting a temporary band-aid on your symptoms.
Through personalized chiropractic care, muscle therapy, corrective exercises, acupuncture, and whole-body wellness support, we help address the physical side of your health while also offering personalized gut health coaching, nutrition guidance, and functional lab testing to help uncover what may be happening beneath the surface.
Our goal isn't simply to help you feel better for a few hours or get you through another day.
It's to help you understand your body, support it from the inside out, and create healthier habits that allow you to move better, digest better, and live better.
Because healthcare shouldn't be about managing symptoms forever. It should be about helping you feel confident, capable, and like yourself again.
You’re doing all the “right” things, but your body still doesn’t feel right.
You’ve tried eating healthier. You’ve added the supplements. You’ve exercised, stretched, rested, and maybe even been told, “Your labs are normal.”
But you’re still dealing with back or neck pain, headaches, stiffness, low energy, bloating, digestive issues, achy joints, inflammation, or simply feeling like your body isn’t working the way it should.
The problem isn’t that you aren’t trying hard enough.
It’s that no one has helped you connect the dots.
Your body doesn’t operate in separate systems. Your nervous system, spine, muscles, movement, stress, nutrition, and gut health all play a role in how you feel.
That’s why we take a different approach.
Instead of chasing one symptom at a time, we look at YOU as a whole person and build a plan around what your body actually needs.
Through personalized chiropractic care, manual therapy, corrective exercise, acupuncture, and whole-body support—along with personalized gut health coaching, nutrition guidance, and functional lab testing—we help you understand what may be contributing to how you feel and create a plan designed specifically for you.
No cookie-cutter protocols. No “just live with it.” No chasing symptoms forever.
Just personalized care designed to help you move better, feel better, support your body from the inside out, and get back to living your life.
Your body is connected. Your care should be, too.

Does this sound like You?
✔️ You’ve been seeing a chiropractor or massage therapist for years, but the same aches, stiffness, headaches, or joint pain keep coming back.
✔️ You’re doing the exercises, making healthy choices, and trying to take care of your body—but you still feel like something is missing.
✔️ You’ve been told your labs are “normal,” yet you’re exhausted, dealing with brain fog, or struggling to get through your day.
✔️ You’re staring at a restaurant menu wondering what you can eat without ending up bloated, uncomfortable, constipated, or searching for a bathroom.
✔️ You’ve had the colonoscopy, been told “everything looks great,” and still don’t feel great.
✔️ You’ve tried cutting gluten and dairy, cycling through probiotics, and buying supplement after supplement without actually knowing what YOUR body needs.
✔️ You’re relying on laxatives for constipation or planning your social life around bathroom access when diarrhea decides to show up.
✔️ You’re standing in front of your closet wondering which outfit will still fit comfortably once the bloating kicks in.
Your nervous system, spine, muscles, movement patterns, stress, sleep, nutrition, and gut health are all connected. When one area isn’t functioning well, it can affect how you feel throughout your entire body.
Myth Busting
-
No! Chiropractic care isn’t just about chasing pain. We also look at how your spine, nervous system, joints, muscles, and movement patterns are functioning.
You can feel “fine” and still have areas that aren’t moving or functioning optimally. Our goal is to help your body function better—not just react when something hurts.
-
Not in our approach. An adjustment is only one piece of the puzzle. We may also incorporate manual therapy, corrective exercises, acupuncture, movement strategies, nutrition, lifestyle support, and gut health when appropriate.
Because your body doesn't function in isolated systems, your care shouldn't either. We want to understand WHY your symptoms are happening—not just temporarily quiet them.
Hi, I am Dr. Kortni
My journey into chiropractic actually started with an old sports injury. I was dealing with pain that wouldn’t go away, and I was being told surgery might be the answer—even though no one could give me a clear diagnosis. I kept searching for answers until someone finally looked at my body differently and discovered the problem was actually related to my first rib. That experience completely changed the way I looked at healthcare. I fell in love with chiropractic because I saw what was possible when you stop chasing the symptom and start looking at the person as a whole.
Years later, I found myself needing that same approach for my own health. I was dealing with digestive issues, constant bloating, diarrhea, exhaustion, brain fog, and hair loss. I kept emergency toilet paper in my truck, planned my days around bathrooms, and relied on coffee just to make it through the afternoon. And despite all of that, I kept hearing, “Your labs are normal.” I knew something wasn't right.
That experience made me start looking even deeper—not just at the spine and nervous system, but at how nutrition, stress, lifestyle, and gut health can all influence how we feel. I started seeing the same patterns in my patients. They would come in for back pain, headaches, or joint pain, but were also dealing with bloating, digestive issues, fatigue, and inflammation. They'd get adjusted, feel better temporarily, and then the pain would return.
I realized the adjustment wasn't the problem. It just wasn't the whole picture.
That's why my approach today goes beyond traditional chiropractic care. We combine chiropractic, movement, manual therapy, acupuncture, nutrition, gut health, and whole-body support to help uncover what your body actually needs.
Because I've been the patient who knew something was wrong but couldn't get anyone to connect the dots.
And now, that's exactly what I want to help my patients do.
Your health doesn’t have to feel this complicated. Let’s look at the bigger picture, make it simple, and create a plan that works for YOU. You don’t have to figure it out alone. Let’s do this together!

Ready for a doctor who will address your health issues?
You’ve had the one-off appointment. You get adjusted, feel a little better, and then a few days later… you’re right back where you started. Maybe your back hurts again. Your neck is tight. Your headaches return. Your joints are still achy. Or you’re still dealing with bloating, digestive issues, low energy, or inflammation. So you book another appointment. And another. Because the goal becomes managing the symptom instead of understanding why it keeps coming back.
The truth is, your body is constantly adapting to what you put it through—your movement, stress, sleep, nutrition, lifestyle, injuries, and daily habits. One appointment can be helpful, but it doesn't give us the time or consistency needed to understand the bigger picture and help your body make lasting changes.
That’s why we don’t believe your health should be built around one-off appointments. At IMS Chiropractic, we take the time to understand your history, assess how your body is functioning, and create a personalized plan that evolves with you. Chiropractic care is at the foundation, supported by manual therapy, corrective exercise, acupuncture, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, gut health support, and functional lab testing when appropriate.
Because getting temporary relief is great. But what if we could figure out why you keep ending up in the same place? Your body doesn't need another quick fix. It needs a plan, consistency, and someone willing to connect the dots.
Why one-off appointments haven’t helped
No Root Cause Approach
Most people focus on where it hurts. We focus on why it hurts. By looking at gut health, inflammation, nutrition, stress, and overall wellness, we help uncover what's really keeping you stuck. All backed by lab results from comprehensive functional lab testing.
2-3 Visits isn’t enough
Your gut health, inflammation, energy, and overall wellness weren't disrupted overnight—and they won't be restored overnight either. Lasting change requires a personalized plan, consistent support, and addressing the root causes that may have been building for years.
Lab Results Alone Won't Change Your Health
Lab testing can provide valuable insights, but results without guidance are just data. Lasting change happens when you have a personalized plan, ongoing support, and clear action steps that help you turn those insights into real improvements in your gut health and overall wellness.
No access between visits
Questions and concerns always arise in between visits that leave you feeling with doubt until your next appointment. Without access to your doctor, you’re alone in the moments that matter most.
What Sets Us Apart
No two people arrive at our office with the same story. Some are dealing with chronic low back pain that's been present for years. Others are frustrated by digestive issues that interfere with everyday life. Some simply know they don't feel healthy anymore, even though they've been told their labs are "normal."
That's why we don't believe in one-size-fits-all care.
Your health history, lifestyle, nutrition, stress levels, movement patterns, and symptoms all matter. We take the time to understand the bigger picture because the more we understand your body, the more personalized your care becomes.
Imagine waking up with more energy instead of hitting snooze three times. Imagine eating a meal without worrying about bloating afterward. Imagine being able to play with your kids without your back reminding you every few minutes that it hurts. Imagine your body recovering faster, your mind feeling clearer, your digestion becoming more predictable, and your confidence growing because you finally understand what your body needs.
That's what we're working toward. Not just helping you feel better for a day or two. Helping you build a healthier body that continues to serve you for years to come.
Your Questions, Answered
-
Your gut plays a huge role in your body’s ability to function, heal, and regulate inflammation. When your gut is out of balance, it can contribute to pain, poor digestion, fatigue, brain fog, hormonal imbalances, and more.
Addressing gut health helps us get to the root cause — not just the symptom.
-
No. Our goal isn't to keep you coming back indefinitely. We create a personalized care plan based on your goals, your body, and what we're finding along the way. That may include chiropractic adjustments along with corrective exercises, manual therapy, movement strategies, and lifestyle recommendations. As your body improves and your goals change, your care can change with it.
The goal isn't dependence on chiropractic care—it's helping you understand your body and giving you the tools to take better care of it.
-
Most conventional care focuses on managing symptoms — not finding the root cause.
We take the time to connect the dots between your symptoms, lab results, lifestyle, nutrition, stress and nervous system so you can create real, lasting change.
-
Yes—when provided by a properly trained and licensed chiropractor, chiropractic care is generally considered safe and effective for many common musculoskeletal concerns. Your care should also be individualized to your history, symptoms, goals, and how your body responds.
At IMS, we don't believe every person needs the same adjustment or the same treatment. We take the time to evaluate you and may incorporate adjustments alongside manual therapy, corrective exercise, acupuncture, and other supportive strategies.
Our goal isn't to force your body into a treatment plan—it’s to understand your body and create care around you.
-
Results vary, but most women experience less pain, better digestion, more energy, improved sleep, balanced moods, reduced inflammation, and a stronger, healthier body.
